Bell-Murphy, Sharon L.
Nottingham - On March 5, Sharon L. Bell-Murphy (nee Airey), 72, of Nottingham passed away at home, surrounded by family.
She was born in Baltimore and loved cooking, karaoke, feeding the birds, lighthouses, her pets (a dog and three cats) and spending time with her great-grandchildren. She had many jobs throughout her life but the most rewarding was the 10 years she spent as a paraprofessional working with the mentally challenged children at White Oak Elementary School.
Sharon was the loving and devoted wife to William E. Murphy; mother to Lorraine “LoLo” Lohmann, Annette Lohmann, Barry Lohmann and wife Theresa, Terry Lohmann and wife Deena and Gregory Bell and Leroy C. Kintzel; dear sister to Roland Airey and wife Susan, Timothy Airey and wife Maria; beloved cousin to Carol Kawacki; loving grandmother to seven grandchildren, Amanda Smith, Nina Fonte and Tyler, Cody, Madilyn, Thomas and Dawn Lohmann, and four great-grandchildren, Dominic, 8, Brendon, 5, Nathaniel “Little Nate” Lohmann, 3, and Dani Lynn Smith, 1.
Visitation and a funeral service were held at the Johnson-Fosbrink Funeral Home on March 13. Interment Parkwood Cemetery.
