Marshall, Herbie I.
Essex - It’s been four years since God called you home.
You are with us still.
Look around at the faces you see
I’m not really gone, you see me.
My father speaks, you hear my voice
My mother’s heart I will rejoice
My sister’s here, you still see me
In my wife’s eyes you see my love.
In my daughter’s face you see my joy
My brother’s laugh, you still hear me
Not just now, for eternity, you see me.
Friends whose hearts have known me well
I’m not really gone for there I’ll dwell
You know in your heart I’m still here
I am, I am you feel me there.
So look around and rejoice today
I’m in your heart and there I’ll stay.
Look around you at those you see
I’m not really gone (Remember my smile)
And you’ll still see me.
Herbie would have been a proud grandfather to his baby grandson, Rowan Valentino Shapiro, who was born on August 9, 2010. Rowan was all smiles as he celebrated his first Christmas with his family.
