Marschall, Frances Louise Lease Walker -
Annapolis - Frances Louise Lease Walker Marschall, 92, died at her Annapolis home on Sunday, May 29. She was born in Cumberland on March 24, 1919 to Verta Viola Smith Lease and Richard Westley Lease.
After graduating from Western High School and Maebella Honour Beauty School (French), she worked as a beautician. In 1942 she married John “Jack” Stanton Walker, a civil engineer. They had one daughter, Pamela Amelia Walker. After living in PA, TN and NY, the couple was residing in Maryland when Jack died in an auto accident in 1962. She married Carl Marschall in 1966, and together they renovated and managed several properties in Baltimore County. Carl died in 1974. After living independently in Wilson Point, Middle River, for 34 years, she moved to Annapolis to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Pam and John Masterson. Survivors also include her granddaughters, Jennifer Odenwald (Peter), of Severna Park, and Joanna Masterson, of Annapolis, and great-grandchildren Jack, Maddy and Peri Odenwald, also of Severna Park. She will be remembered for her extraordinary cooking, zesty spirit and signature red hair.
